What is a Browser?

We tech geeks, when asked "What is a browser?" will probably mention names of browsers such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, and could go on for hours about different uses. But does the general user know what a "browser" is? The answer may surprise you, make you cringe or laugh out loud.

This survey was, as you can probably tell, in Times Square and was carried out by Google in 2009. Obviously by that time Google Chrome wasn't as popular as it is today, but I'm sure if this survey was carried out again, we would probably get mostly the same answers. Admit it, that video should have been classified under the "Comedy" category on YouTube, right?
