Review: Speck Pixel Skin HD Case for iPhone 4

Being a crazy, protective person of my iPhone, I wanted to get a case that would be protective enough to give me a sense of relief. After going to the Apple store and looking through the cases, I stumbled upon the Speck Pixel HD case. I had asked an employee which case he would recommend that would offer protection, but not add so much bulk to the phone. He too, recommended the Speck case.

The case has a hard, yet flexible build to it. It has openings for the camera, and the silent switch. The case covers the sleep/wake button and the volume controls. A downfall, for me at least, is that the buttons are very hard to press. It takes a lot of effort to press them. As to the bulk, it did not add that much. Obviously it has add some sort of  thickness to protect it, but i was worried it would add a lot. Surprisingly it didn't, but it still had great protection. I dropped my phone multiple times with this case on, and absolutely nothing happened!

Overall, I was very satisfied with this case. Although it takes away from the design of the phone, I would rather have a phone in one piece, rather than many. Aside the fact that it is hard to press the buttons, I would recommend this case to anyone and everyone!
