Samsung SyncMaster SA350 Review

The Samsung SA350 is a 1080p LED monitor that comes in at a very respectable price of around 130 British Pounds. It is 23 inches diagonally so it is fairly small compared to some other monitors which may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are and what you intend to do with the monitor.

As with most LED monitors it is incredibly thin and the bezel around the monitor looks gorgeous, it is mainly piano black but it has a touch of red around the edges and glass (by which a mean plastic that looks like glass) over the top of this.

It has a high contrast ratio of 50 million to 1, it is 1080p (as I mentioned earlier), the monitor it self is matte so you won't get too much glare and it has both VGA and HDMI inputs, but if your graphics card only supports DVI you can pick up an adapter for a very small price.

Unfortunately the stand of this monitor doesn't tilt or adjust in height, Samsung have attempted to fix this with what they call "Samsung Magic Angle" which basically adjusts the contrast and brightness of the monitor to compensate for the change in the brightness and contrast when looking at the monitor from an angle. I have tested out this feature and it seems to work relatively well but still doesn't compare to having an adjustable stand.

In conclusion, this monitor is great if your looking for a 1080p monitor at a price that won't drain your bank account, but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on viewing it from an angle.

Yes, you can tilt the monitor by 10 degrees. If it's brand new, then it could become tricky and you need to push it a little harder. Just firmly hold the stand with one hand and with the other try to push the frame display first backwards from top-middle and then forward to loosen it up a bit. Don't worry, you won't break it.
