How to Tweet Smarter

Who isn't on Twitter at the moment? I bet you anything, that if you are reading this blog post, then you own a twitter account. Twitter is no longer just a social experience, it's now a life changer. Building a following on Twitter can be highly valuable for brands, and individuals. So, I want too tell you about an application I've recently been using called Buffer, and how it’s helping me use Twitter too it’s full potential. You're going too love it.

What is Buffer?

Buffer is a tweet scheduling application, founded by @joelgascoigne and @LeoWid, that makes the process simple, and effective. Forget accidentally flooding your following with a sudden surge of tweets, Buffer's aim is too keep a steady, healthy flow of content, just enough too keep your followers satisfied.

How Does it Work?

With Buffer, what you’re doing is creating a queue of tweets, which are stored in what they call “the buffer”. You can add tweets to your buffer inside the website or using a browser extension (the Google Chrome extension ROCKS), which work in a speedy two click process.

What I’ve really enjoyed using Buffer, is seeing what conversions I get with my tweets, in other words clicks on links etc. Sure, I could use something like bit.ly (which you can also integrate with Buffer), but having everything there in front of me in one application is so much better.

Oh, another cool thing. I’m not only seeing, “Tweet This” buttons on blogs, I’m now seeing “Buffer This”. It’s indefinitely catching on....

What’s This Going to Cost?

Yeah, Buffer sounds awesome, but I bet there’s a catch, some outrageous monthly fee or something? Ermm...well...nope. Really?!..erm, yes. You can use Buffer 100% free of charge, and it works beautifully. There are three packages, as you start too pay, the more tweets you’ll be able to queue in your Buffer, the more accounts you can attach, and the more multiuser accounts you can have. Like they said, they’re offering “GuyKawasaki-like tweeting.”.

Conclusion

So finally, I’d like too conclude this review with a positive “check this app out”. Not only are you going to be satisfied with this product, but so are your following. The ease of use, and simplistic charm, will have you filling your Buffer in no time. So, what are you waiting for? Sign up, now.
