Review: OtterBox Case for iPod touch 3rd Generation
In early June, my family and I took a trip to the wine country in California. We were flying on US. Airways, and had a very rough landing in Phoenix. I hadn't realized it until about 30 mins later, in the airport, that the screen cracked. Thankfully, a couple days later, we went to the Apple Store in Santa Rosa, California, and got a new, 3rd Generation, iPod Touch (32gb).
The Apple Store worker that helped us recommended the OtterBox Case for the iPod Touch. He gave us directions to Cell Treasurers, which was located in that mall. The case has two layers. One, inner, tougher layer; and one outer layer with a nicer feel. The case has access to all the buttons and ports, and even a small "opening" for the Ambient Light Sensor. The case is even completely waterproof! Also, the case features a small "opening" for the Apple Logo on the back of the device.
I am very happy with this case. I have found it easy to access the ports on the bottom and charge it at night. However, sometimes I find it hard to use the pinch-to-zoom feature. I would personally recommend this case to anyone who needs a great case for their 2nd or 3rd Generation iPod Touch. The one problem I have with this case, is that I cannot use my iPod Dock Station, unless I take it out of the case. But, I knew that from the start. OtterBox, you have definitely done an excellent job with this case!
