Is Tim Cook the New iCEO?

“To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.”

On August 24, 2011, Steve Jobs sent in his letter of resignation to Apple’s Board of Directors.

From that lonely day in 1976, when Apple was created, till now Jobs has bounced in and out of the company. Unfortunately, this seems to be the end of the road for him. He has asked on the other hand that he remain active as Chairman of the Board for Apple.

In his letter he specifically recommended Tim Cook as the new Apple CEO and seconds later it was final. Tim Cook is the new face of Apple Inc. Today every Apple fan, user, and employee across the globe will wait to see Apple’s next move. Steve led Apple this far and lets hope that Tim Cook and lead Apple even further into the future.

Good job Mr. Jobs, though its a shame to see you go we hope to still see you around. Good luck Tim, hope you got some good ideas up your sleeve.
