Mitter - Markdown for Twitter

Many of you will already know what Markdown is, but for those of you who don't - Markdown is a way for applying styling (such as bold or italics) in a way that is easy to understand, refer to the Markdown website for more information. 

Mitter is a chrome extension (and greasemonkey script) that gives Markdown support to Twitter.

Mitter is in alpha testing stage right now, so don't be surprised if it is buggy.
