iPod Classic on its Death Bed?

After celebrating the iPod classic's 10th birthday, it now seems that the traditional click wheel iPod could be close to death!

As of today you are no longer able to download any click wheel games from iTunes; is this the build up to a complete new refresh, or just the end of an era? Whatever the reasoning it seems inevitable that the day will come when we will no longer have the iPod Classic; and that this move by Apple is surely the beginning of the end for the iPod Classic as we know it. The future is unknown, however one thing is known, that the iPod Classic will be added to the list of great innovation that Apple is best known for.
