Review: Scope for iPad 2 & iPhone 4

Having an interchangeable lens on a DSLR camera is all fine and well, but on an iPad 2 or iPhone 4?! This is madness.

When I first saw this product I immediately knew that I had to have it. So the folks over at MobileFun hooked me up with both the iPad 2 version and the iPhone 4 version!

Both versions work just as they should. All you do is snap on the included case and then attach the lens into the small slots on the case, open the camera app and you are good to go! The lens itself features a manual focus, so you can suit the lens to your distance. This lens does not improve quality, this is only improves the zoom.

The zoom is increased up to about 18x without the actual zoom on the device camera. So this means you can get that great close up shot you've always wanted with the device without losing quality.

The issues I had with the lens kit was the included case. I understand that it is an included case, so quality isn't exactly perfect. The case was extremely weak, I was actually very scared of pushing the lens into position incase it broke. That is the only issue I had. The iPhone case though is fine.

I would highly recommend this to any photographers out there! I would use it if I didn't have my DSLR. For more great iPad 2 & iPhone 4 accessories, visit MobileFun.
