Funny iPhone 5 Videos

There is already a lot of controversy surrounding the iPhone 5 since its release back in September. It is usually believed that only the most hardcore of Apple fans bothered to buy it, thanks to the ridiculously high price tag and lack of updates on the 4S. Not to mention the necessary purchases to update accessories, thanks to the slight changes that made the old ones obsolete with the new model.

Obviously, there has been quite a bit of anger. Especially from those who are not heavy Apple fans, or who see what a massive ripoff this new incarnation of the iPhone really is. I mean, come on...$400 for the iPhone 4S with less than an inch of new screen? A power adapter that you have to buy to fit the new model? They seemed to go out of their way to make money on this one, and it has put a bit of doubt on the way Tim Cook will handle the company from Steve Jobs, who was already pretty well known for playing those tricks.

But if you want to keep yourself from screaming in frustration or leaving snarling comments on Apple fanboy blogs, check out these videos. The laughter will help us to fight through the tears. (Note: Some of these videos are NSFW).

1. Steve Jobs Resurrected

You may have thought that Steve Jobs was gone, but he's not. He is back from heaven, along with Tupac, Jesus Christ, an autotuned featured artist and a bunch of dancing Apple girls. All to backhand Tim Cook into submission from beyond the grave...and lay down a hot new track! This one is offensive, funny and depressingly accurate when it comes to the new 'amazing features' of the iPhone 5.

2. iPhone 4S Prank

Jimmy Kimmel did what could be described as a social experiment. He had his staff take an iPhone 4S to the streets, and told people that it was the new iPhone 5. Then they asked what they thought. Funny enough, people saw a difference where there was none, and even praised the superior new model. Just goes to show you: the mind can be convinced quite easily into anything. Remember that next time you are standing in line for the iPhone 600S, or whatever it gets to.

3. iPhone 5 Song

Want more jokes about how the two phones are exactly the same? This is a fun little rap by Jack, the very funny tech nerd. If you don't laugh at the lyrics, you are sure to at least get a chuckle from his dancing. Sorry, Jack!

4. Galaxy S III

This one is an official ad for the Samsung Galaxy S III, their latest model. It never mentions the iPhone 5 by name. However, it does show a long line of chilly hipsters waiting around for the new device that will 'have everything we didn't get last year'. The message seems clear enough.

5. A Taller Change

For those who have heard about the bigger iPhone 5 screen, you should know one thing: it is only taller, not wider. Basically, they added a bit of length and nothing else. Which seems like an odd design choice, but whatever. This parody ad shows us how Apple could have gone all the way with it, and made it into something truly impressive. And tall...I shouldn't forget tall.

Bonus:

SNL App Parody

This SNL skit was never aired, as many people saw it as tasteless. To be fair, the idea of punching cops for fun could be classified as less than tasteful, sure. But I still found it pretty funny. It mocks the iTunes app ads, showing us that the man likes punching his cops, but he also likes a clear escape route. Quick fact: the iPhone 5 doesn't have Google Maps. Sorry, random assailant!

SNL 911 iPhone Parody

Are you sick of the ads that constantly come up when you run ads? So is Adam Sandburg, and in his case it has deadly consequences. However, it also has dogs in capes. Who doesn't love that?

If you know of a funny iPhone 5 video, let us know in the comments. Be sure to mention if it isn't work safe!
