Unboxing: Ravelli APLT4 Tripod

Since I record videos on a regular basis, I needed an easy solution to hold my camera. Until now, I've been using the Joby GorillaPod Hybrid to hold my camera. While this is a great tripod, I prefer this tripod for on-the-go purposes rather than a dedicated tripod for my videos. With this in mind, I decided that it was time to invest in an actual tripod. After a quick search on Amazon, I discovered and purchased the Ravelli APLT4 tripod.

When I was looking for a tripod, I quickly realized that I didn't need to go over the top. I'm not a filmmaker, nor will I need it to move much. I simply needed a reliable tripod that can hold a camera steady. That's exactly what this tripod does. I have full movement of the camera, but it only set me back about $20 after shipping. My first impression of the tripod is that it's a simply bang for the buck. The build quality seems decent considering the price that I paid for it. It's very sturdy, has two levels built in, and holds the camera well. This is exactly what I was looking for!

If you're interested in having a look at the tripod, you can scan the UPC in the video with your smartphone, or you can simply click here. Be sure to check me out on YouTube and Twitter for more tech content!
