AirPlay to a Mac

If many of you are like me and watch Netflix or YouTube in bed on your Mac, but hate moving to change what you’re watching, then I may have the solution: AirPlay on your Mac. Many of you have probably looked for some ‘AirPlay Server’ or something like that. I found one and you had to pay for it, but this is 100% free.

Now I’ve found a solution while looking about on my favorite media center program, XBMC. It’s currently a Release Candidate for version 11 (Eden). Just download and install XBMC, head in to settings > network and scroll down to the bottom and you will see AirPlay options. Enable that and it should show up on your iDevice.

This works on Windows, too. You just need to install iTunes beforehand to get the Bonjour protocol.
