SD Tabletware White iPad Case Review

The SD Tabletware Stand and Typing case for the iPad 2nd or 3rd generation is a great cheap addition to your iPad. I received it the day before my new iPad arrived and instantly slipped the iPad in when it arrived on Friday. At first I was impressed with the build quality, it may not be leather but it does feel pretty good in the hands. It has a good weight to it but not so much that makes holding the iPad tedious. The stitching is neat and mine had no fraying or loose ends. The inner fabric is soft to the touch and keeps the iPad clean it is white though so does tend to get dirty easily but you can get virtually any other colour. The iPad in a snug fit but it doesn't slip about due to the Velcro strap.

A really cool feature this case has, is the compatibility of the case with the magnetic lock on the iPad. As a new iPad user I found this handy for if you want to have a quick look at the time or a notification.
The cutouts on the case for the various ports, switches and cameras are perfectly done, there is sufficient room for the dock connector and headphones. The volume rocker is also easy to get to but the rotation/mute switch is a little tricky, if you don't have nails like me.

To use the case as a stand or typing aid you just fold the cover back and slide it under a little leather lip on the back of the case. I did find the upright position a little unstable but as the case has worn in throughout the passed few weeks it has gotten better. The typing position is a good angle, I'm using it right now to write this review on my knee. I'm very impressed with it.

Below I have a video showing around the case, cutouts and the stand.
