How to Use Iris Enhancement in Lightroom
I am a very keen photographer, and I love macro shots. Most of my macro shots are eye shots. An eye shot is where the photographer would take a photo of the top part of some ones face. This would make the person looking at the photo look at the eyes first. But if the top half shot isn't enough to draw the attention to the eyes, I have a great solution.
If you are an amatuer photographer and you use Lightroom, use the steps below to help you make your eye shots look even cooler.
First thing first, go over the eyes with the clarity brush. You can do this by clicking the brush tool and click on custom. Then, click on clarity. I would go over about 2 or 3 times, but you can do it however many times you want. You should see that the eyes are much sharper than they were before.
Next, click on clarity/custom like you did before, and click on Iris Enhancement.
Below, is the settings I use for Iris Enhancement.
Now, all you have to do is brush over the pupils (not the white bit). And if all this goes well, they should look like the photos I edited below.
Thanks for reading, and I hope this helped.
