Review: Capdase Xpose for HTC Sensation XL

When I look for a case for any of my devices, I always go for something with style and also a bit of protection. Previous to this case I used an Otterbox Defender on my Galaxy S, but since I recently switched phones I was in the market for a new case.

The Capdase Xpose for HTC Sensation XL seemed to fit the needs pretty well, I really loved the slim form factor as well as the subtle colour difference between it and the phone. Due to the slim form factor it hardly added any bulk at all so it almost felt like you didn't have a case on, which is something I highly appreciate due to use an Otterbox for quite some time. All the cut outs for the camera, flash and speaker are extremely accurate which is something I was very pleased with.

As for protection, I wouldn't go throwing your phone at the wall anytime soon. As I said before, the case has a slim form factor which is good but also has its downsides. A small drop onto the ground won't do much harm but a drop from more than 7/8 feet may cause some damage. There's a small ridge over the screen meaning if dropped on its screen it will offer some protection. So if you're looking for protection for your phone, I wouldn't go down this route.

In conclusion, I really like this case but I wouldn't exactly go out hiking with it. I plan on using Capdase in the future. If you're looking for more great HTC accessories go to MobileFun!
