Loadables - Free Mac App Review

Wondering what might be running on start up, log in or launch that might not immediately be apparent? How about what is on standby but not fully launching, still taking up resources without your knowledge? When you have a Mac, it can be harder to see what apps are sucking up those resources and maybe effecting the overall performance of your computer.

Loadables is a great app that takes all of this information and lays it out for you in an easy to read format. You can simply select what apps and processes you want to turn off, or make changes to how your system starts up. Think of it as a Windows task manager for the Mac, and a lot more informative. You can even see which ones can and cannot have their settings changed by the user (system processes that cannot be turned off from the app appear in bold).

Conclusion

All in all, this is a super simple application that gives you all the information you need. It has no frills or extras that you won't use, and since it is a paid app it won't bombard you with annoying ads. It costs only $4.99, which is a small price to pay to up the performance of your Mac. Give Loadables a try.
