5 Great Sites For Generating Branded QR Codes

QR (Quick Response) codes are a growing trend among businesses who are investing in mobile marketing campaigns. With the proliferation of smartphones, companies can easily leverage the technology to their advantage and connect offline customers to digital content.

It can be a simple way of extending your advertising message with a limited amount of space on your publication. It’s quick to scan and usually small in size. One QR code can instantly connect users to web pages, product information or even promotions. Businesses can efficiently increase their brand awareness, convey their marketing message and engage customers, all at the same time.

Ever seen a QR code? You've probably come across one printed on posters, product packaging, brochures or business cards. If you have, then you know that they’re pixellated black and white squares—not visually ideal when you want that digital code to attract eyes to your business.

Fortunately, there are places where you can customize and get a specially branded QR code for marketing your small business.

1. QRHacker.com

With QR Hacker, you can “pimp your code” and give it some  personality with colour, text and even images.  Create a free account to create unique QR codes for non-commercial use. 4. QRt.co

QRt has flexible options for customizing generic codes. Companies can include their logo, a regular image and custom colours.  Free accounts are offered, but are limited to customizing only the QR code’s colour scheme. Paid accounts will offer users more customization such as adding logos, adjusting block styles, gradients and overlays. You can also choose from their collections of pre-designed templates. For anyone interested, QRt  offers corporate and volume discounts, as well.
