Big Cat Rescue iPhone Application Review
When I was in elementary school I used to play with a group of students, most girls and a few boys, during recess. What would we play? Cats, or some kind of variation of cats. Usually tigers, where we would create these elaborate social systems and story lines as a pack of tigers living in a jungle somewhere unnamed.
Even as an adult, I love big cats. Elegant, fierce, dangerous and complex, they are incredible animals. I have always wanted to visit the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida. Unfortunately, I live across the country and have not had the chance. Which is why I was thrilled to find this app.
How It Works
You take a virtual tour through the rescue and check out the many big cats they have housed there. Tigers, lions, panthers and many more are there, rescued from abusive environments like circuses. They are treated well and allowed to roam with others are of their kind.
The app lets you see the cats that are there, getting to know details of who they are and where they came from. You can also read about common issues. All for free, as this is a non-profit app.
If you like big cats, check this out today.
