iPhone SDK Tutorial: Hello World

I thought I would make a YouTube channel strictly for SDK Tutorials and to teach people how to make their own iPhone applications, thus creating SDKToday. SDKToday will have a video uploaded either every two days or every week with video tutorials on how to make simple but unique applications. My goal is to get the channel fairly large and perhaps make partner in the future. However, I do want people to broaden their horizons and learn programming as a spare time thing for them to do on the computer.

Sit back and enjoy!

iPhone SDK Tutorial: UIAlertView

I decided to upload some Xcode Tutorials on YouTube so a lot of people could get started with learning how to develop their own iPhone applications. In the first tutorial I will be teaching you how to create a UIAlertView, which is essentially a pop up in your application, wether it be when the app launches or anything else really. The UIAlertView displays a title and a message, as well as some buttons either below it so different actions can be given to each button accordingly.

To check out how to create the UIAlertView watch the video below:

Droid 2 Unboxing

A couple days ago I picked up the Droid 2 and unboxed it on YouTube and so far I am completely satisfied with the product to fit my liking. At first glance the Droid looks sleek with a pop out keyboard, touch screen controls and a whole lot more.

To be honest, this is my first Android phone and I couldn't see myself using another operating system for quite some time, while I am on Verizon for the time being. Hopefully my Android experience keeps going strong and all the hype lives up to my expectations.
