Blind Man Goes for a Cruise

This sounds crazy but Google let a blind man sit in the driver seat of a car to take a test drive. It may sound crazy, but the car was the company’s self-driving car. Steve Mahan is one lucky guy!

Mahan doesn’t have a driver’s license because he lost 95% of his vision. Like a true man, the first place Mahan wanted to go once he hopped in the driver seat was Taco Bell. Don’t worry, a Google representative rode along side with a computer on his lap, programming the route to each destination.

This car is the smartest car of all time. The steering wheel turns automatically, vehicle stops at red lights, vehicle stops at stop signs and all the other road laws/functions. The vehicle is equipped with radar and lasers that check for cross-traffic and prevent the vehicle from collisions.

This car has the possibility to change Mahan’s life:

Where this would change my life is to give me the independence and the flexibility to go the places I both want to go and need to go.

While Mahan sat in the Taco Bell parking lot eating his taco, the car was figuring out how to get to their next stop. This is truly a remarkable piece of technology that has the ability to explode into something huge for the future. Once question we must all have, is this safe?

According to Google, there has been over 200,000 miles of road testing with this self-driven car. Although they say it’s still undergoing tests, would you use a self-driving vehicle? Let us know in the comments.

iPhone Tutorial: Sending Multiple Pictures

After owning one of the world’s most powerful smartphones, I wanted to figure out how to send multiple pictures to my friends and family via text message and email. I always seen it done but I never really knew how to do it. For awhile, I actually forgot to figure it out until one day I actually needed the feature.

After many Google searches later, I figured out how to accomplish this. I came to the conclusion that not many people know how to do this and probably are having difficulty finding out how to do it. Knowing how to do it, I decided to share the knowledge.

Sending Multiple Pictures:

  1. Unlock your device
  2. Tap on “Photos”
  3. Tap on the album where your photos you want to send are located
  4. Tap on the box with the arrow on it (Top Right)
  5. Tap on the pictures you wish to send
  6. Tap “Share”
  7. Tap either “Message” or “Email”
  8. Type who you want it to go to
  9. Tap “Send”
  10. Wait for a response!

While this is a great thing to know, keep in mind that you are limited to a set amount of pictures.

Unboxing: Xbox 360 Headset/Chatpad

If you haven’t heard or noticed, I have recently purchased an Xbox 360 from my local GameStop. In the middle of all the money spending madness, I noticed that the Xbox Live experience was missing something. That something was the headset.

When playing on Xbox Live, you’re given the opportunity to chat with others via voice. With out a headset, this is impossible. Knowing that I was missing out on one of the prime features, I drove back to my local GameStop, busted out my empty wallet and purchased the headset and chatpad combination.

Before watching the video, just keep in mind that these aren’t Turtle Beach’s. They should follow in the coming months when I become more addicted to the Xbox. As for now, these will do. Enjoy!

Unboxing: 250GB Xbox 360

I’m finally back in the gaming world. After going a 1-2 years without an Xbox, I decided it was finally time to purchase the system again. I couldn’t start to explain how much I missed playing Call of Duty, Halo, Forza and many others.

In the beginning of my hunt, I was looking on Craigslist and eBay for used (older) systems for a cheap budget. After finding a few for around $50-$90, I thought to myself. Why spend the money on an older, used Xbox and risk getting the Red Ring of Death (RRoD) or not working? After all, my previous Xbox ended life with the RRoD and I certainly didn’t want that again.

After doing my research, I discovered that Microsoft “fixed” the RRoD in the newer generation Xbox 360. Well, back on the hunt to find a used one on Craigslist and eBay. I found a few for around $120 but they all were the 4GB. I knew from the start I wanted Forza 4. That game alone uses about 3GB, without all the extra track/car packs. I knew the 4GB counsel was out of the question.

I finally gave up and went to my local GameStop to purchase a new 250GB Xbox 360. When I looked up, I saw a refurbished model for $50 cheaper than purchasing new. GameStop guaranteed the system to play, look and feel new. They told me that it’s basically like a new system, hence only being $50 cheaper. I decided to take their word and go for it. I’m all about saving money.

To my surprise, I came home and made this unboxing video for you all to enjoy. Once I plugged everything in and played for over 7 hours straight, I came to the conclusion that GameStop wasn’t lying. I’m very pleased with my purchase and their customer service. GameStop gets a “+1″ in my book!

I hope you all enjoy the unboxing video. If you did, don’t forget to share it with your friends and family. A subscribe or like always helps :P
