Nokia Asha 300 Review

My dad got this phone in an attempt to bring him more into the 21st century without loosing the physical buttons completely. And i've got to say i've been pleasantly surprised, a lot of focus has been on nokias windows phone but obviously they've been quietly working away on the cheaper range of phones which started nokias dominance with who can forget the 3310.

This phone may have a resistive touchscreen, which isn't half bad by the way, but it manages to fit a 1ghz processor and 5mega pixel camera (lacking flash) into it's slight frame for a very reasonable £65. Having owned the nokia 5800 I can see that symbian has moved a long way since those days, and lets face it this isn't going to challenge the iphones of galaxys of this world, but for a reliable budget phone this is going to be hard to beat. It also shows us that soon we won't have to break the bank to get a very useable phone which has got to be a good thing.

Unboxing: Canon PowerShot ELPH 300HS / IXUS 220HS

For about a year, I have been enjoying the ability to upload YouTube videos in high definition. Granted, I was recording in 720p, I was impressed with the quality of my Flip MinoHD. Alas, the time has come for me to desire more in a camera. My knowledge in photography/videography is constantly growing thanks to my major in Broadcasting and the Flip began to feel limiting.

Enter the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300HS (aka the IXUS 220HS in UK/EU). This small yet powerful point-and-shoot packs full 1080p HD video as well as manual ISO, white balance and 5x optical zoom controls in video mode. This camera also offers autofocusing while shooting in high def. With this impressive feature set at the consumer price of $249.99, this will be the perfect camera for many YouTubers. This is my unboxing and some test footage of this little gem!

Outlets to Go 300 Review

Today I’m giving you a review of the Outlets to Go 300 for Laptops by MonsterPower. This gadget retails for $29.95 at www.monstercable.com.

Aesthetics

This device has a nice smooth black finish, which gives it that minimal effect to it. Makes it great for blending it which wall surfaces.

Minimal Space

The greatest thing about the Outlets to Go is how small and portable it really is, weather your going around the corner or around the world; it fits in all laptop bags, carry on bags or where ever you place your electronic devices.

Very Stable

It has survived numerous drop test, which makes this very stable in a real world scenario, in which you may drop your bag.

Cons

There are a few cons. I wish it had four outlets instead of 3 just in case I had an extra device I would like to plug in and also more usb ports if you're a geek like myself, you have more than two gadgets that charge via USB.

Other than that, this is a great little gadget to carry around. I give it an 8 out of 10.
