In this video I unbox my brand new Canon Rebel T2i, which I picked up on Cyber Monday for about $550. As it is my first DSLR, I am very excited to use this camera from here on forward for all of my photography and video needs. Look forward to more HD videos on my YouTube channel.
After using the Canon Rebel T3i (600D) for about three weeks, here are my thoughts on photo and video quality. Overall, I love this camera and can't wait to experience expandability as I build a lens collection. Included are some test images and 1080p HD test footage.
Thanks for watching as always! If you have any specific questions regarding this camera or its quality, feel free to create some discussion in the comments and I will get back to you!
Nearly three years after unboxing my Canon EOS Rebel XSi, I now bring to you the unboxing of my brand spanking new Canon EOS Rebel T3i. With the T3i comes the 18-55mm EF-S kit lens. I plan to purchase a EF 50mm in the near future.
Thanks so much for watching and keep your eyes peeled for much more T3i related content in the coming weeks! If there are any tutorials you would like to see, feel free to ask! This camera will be used mainly for filmmaking but I want to begin doing wedding photography again as well.
The 1080p video footage from the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300HS is beautiful. But can it stand up to Final Cut Pro X's three-way color correction? In this video, I demonstrate how professional the 300 HS footage can look when color graded.
I was happy to find that the color correction in this video added a very interesting "film look" in some of the shots. As you can see in the final shot, the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS even shoots wonderfully in low light situations. All in all, if you know how to use your editing program, you can easily get professional looking color grading from the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS's 1080p video footage.
For about a year, I have been enjoying the ability to upload YouTube videos in high definition. Granted, I was recording in 720p, I was impressed with the quality of my Flip MinoHD. Alas, the time has come for me to desire more in a camera. My knowledge in photography/videography is constantly growing thanks to my major in Broadcasting and the Flip began to feel limiting.
Enter the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300HS (aka the IXUS 220HS in UK/EU). This small yet powerful point-and-shoot packs full 1080p HD video as well as manual ISO, white balance and 5x optical zoom controls in video mode. This camera also offers autofocusing while shooting in high def. With this impressive feature set at the consumer price of $249.99, this will be the perfect camera for many YouTubers. This is my unboxing and some test footage of this little gem!
