I got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 about a week ago. The Galaxy Tab is available in two colors: white and metallic gray. It is sold in a 16 GB model, which is about $500, and a 32 GB model, which is about $600.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 runs Android version 3.2 Touch Wiz and has a dual-core processor (1GHz x 2. It has a 7,000 mAh battery which would last 9 hours of usage time and 1000 hours of standby time with Wi-Fi on and 3900 without Wi-Fi on. Also if you were to use the device with 4G LTE, it would last about 400 hours of standby time.
The Galaxy Tab uses the Android web browser and is compatible with Adobe Flash Player. The Galaxy Tab has the ability to video chat through ooVoo and Skype because it contains a front-facing camera, that is a 2.0 megapixel camera and a 3.0 Megapixel camera on the back of the device. The Galaxy Tab has a beautiful display and a very smooth feeling to it.
The customization that can be done on this device is the following: the ability to add widgets, add what app shortcuts you want and to customize the wallpaper you want on your lock screen, as well as your home screens. This device is great because it has the entire Android Marketplace and the Samsung Marketplace. I've used it to watch YouTube videos, go on the Internet, play apps and for my social media tasks. The device, in my opinion, deserves 4.9 out of 5 stars.
