Hauppauge Unboxing

Today we unbox the Hauppauge HD PVR. I picked this bad boy up for $199 at BestBuy. The main reason I purchased this is to record diffrent gameplay videos from my Playstation 3. After my research, I found that the Hauppauge is the best recorder for gameplay videos, used by many including Machinma and Team Noble. If you want to record your gameplays, I would hightly recommend purchasing the Hauppauge.

Flight Control HD Coming to Mac & PC via Steam

Yet another Mac app has made the jump to Steam! 

Macworld reports that Flight Control is making an early debut via Steam as they don’t want to wait until January to release their immensely popular line-drawing game. Firemint has already spread its game to other gaming platforms like the Playstation 3, DSi, and Windows Phone 7, so it’s not surprising to see it coming to the PC as well. 

The Steam version, which allows for accessibility for Mac and PC gamers simultaneously, will add some extra features to set it apart from previous versions. There will be a “Stunt Flying” map in which you can gain extra points by passing through certain areas. Flight Control HD will also support Steam achievements and leader boards.

It’s fairly obvious that Firemint is planning to make money off users by making them pay twice for the same game (for the Steam and Mac App Store versions), so think twice before rushing off and purchasing Flight Control HD for Mac & PC. We only recommend purchasing this Steam copy if you can’t wait until 2011 (if you’re that impatient)!

Sky's 3D TV channel launches in the UK

If you live in the UK you can now check out the new 3D TV channel if you are a Sky subscriber. It's the first in the UK and will offer 14 hours of 3D TV a day. There will be a range of programming from movies to football and it all kicks off with the Ryder Cup. To be able to receive the channel you will need a 3D TV and a Sky service with the Sky World HD package. For any Americans out there "Sky" is a satellite TV provider.

Will the iPhone 4 be successful?

Today was a keynote day. We were so nervous for this. Today at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA, Steve Jobs took the stage and he revealed a lot of new things, but the most beautiful, the iPhone 4.

You can read all the specs on it in the other posts that we have been writing. We even posted a video about it, but my question is: Will it be successful? In my opinion, the hardware is gorgeous and the software (iOS 4) is the best OS in the world, but for some people, they wanted something new, something with more features.

I want to make you remember something, and that being Apple is probably the best company in the world, and we think it can make everything, because they have us accustomed to the best technology. Maybe we are wanting more than the future. At least Apple is just a company like Google or Microsoft.
