Sanyo Xacti CG10 Test Footage

Following up from my unboxing of the Sanyo Xacti, which occured a few months ago, I'm back with some test footage from the camera itself. This video is test footage of the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10 recording at 720p & 30 FPS. If you have any questions regarding the CG10, just leave a comment either on the YouTube video or this blog. I will do a full in-depth review of this camera in the near future.

Out of the Box MacBook Pro Video

I shot this video and edited it on my MacBook Pro a while back when I first opened it. This should show you how easy it is to pick up on using a Mac as well as the iSight quality. It is in HD.

Flip MinoHD Sample Footage

I've had my MinoHD for about 6 months, and thought I'd finally put together a little video montage of simple quality samples taken with the camera. If you are thinking about the MinoHD, I'd definitely recommend it. It has an amazingly thin body on top of great quality video.

Be sure to watch in 720p HD!

HUE HD Webcam Review

So this Christmas I received a red HUE webcam, the webcam I used previously was built into my Acer Aspire 9300 laptop, and to be honest was not at all good quality. Well after using this webcam for a few days I decided to do a review to hopefully convince anyone who is searching the market for a webcam, that this is the one for them.

In my opinion the top of the market for webcams is the ISight camera. However it is rather expensive and only runs with mac , the HUE webcam is very good quality and affordable , I believe mine to have been purchased at Amazon.com costing £25 ( $40.03 ) which is very cheep for what you get. The buil quality of the camera is excellent and feels very firm and reliable.

Specs:

True 2 Megapixel CMOS

5-layer antiglare optical

75 degrees (veiwing angle)

The camera can capture images, as well as recording videos.

Works with Windows and Mac

If you are looking for a good quality , affordably webcam , then this is the one for you!

Canon EOS 500D Review

The Canon EOS 500D (also known as the T1i in the USA) is a midrange Digital SLR from Canon. I picked mine up for just $1200 AUD online, and boy for that price it's an awsome camera for both semi-pro and amateur photographers like myself.

Features: The 500D offers great features like full HD 1080p video recording at 20fps or (if you want some more fps) HD 720p at 30fps, other features include; a DIGIC IV processor for ultra clear pictures, an ISO range of 100 to 12,800(expanded), a 15.1 Megapixel image sensor and a 3" 640x480 lcd. The camera also has a 9-point autofocus system, live view and a 1 second boot up time.

Connectivity: The 500D has a fair amount of connections including/l mini-HDMI, A/V-out, mini-USB, 2.5mm jack (for a remote) and an SD card slot that supports SD and SDHC. An 8 GB card will store about 1400 pictures in JPEG, 380 pictures in RAW or 50 minutes of 720p video (the battery lasts about 1:15 recording video).

If you are on a budget but still want to have SLR features, then the 500D is for you. It's a great camera and I have had no problems with it in the 4 months I have had mine.
