How to Place Additional Lots in The Sims 3

With the launch of The Sims 3 came a complaint -- the fact that you were not able to place additional lots in the neighborhoods. If I deleted every single lot in the neighborhood, I would have to start a new game. Many were upset that they took away this useful feature that was added in The Sims 2. However, EA did include a way to add additional lots, and even added a larger spectrum of sizes to choose from.
