Photoshop: Filter Effects and Adjustment Layers

Today we are going to look at the differences between filter effects and adjustment layers in photoshop. This lesson isn’t hard at all, and can be done in a short amount of time.  My goal in this video is to show you which one is the better one to use, while being able to show you a way to get the filter effect look while being able to not ruin your images. The photos that were used in this video belong to me, but feel free to use whatever you want to help you understand the lesson better.

Photoshop Quick Selection Tool (Video)

In today's little help video, we are going to be looking at one of my favorite tools in Photoshop. The Quick Selection Tool. This tool is actually quite unique and can be very useful in some of the toughest situations. This works like a brush to where you can resize it and select or deselect certain areas of the picture with no problem. I will show you how to use it and even some cool things you can do with it. I hope you find this video useful for your photoshop experience.

Photoshop: Pen Tool

I love using Photoshop. In this video we are going to be looking at using the pen tool, a unique path and selection tool that is integrated into Photoshop CS5. A lot of people actually have problems with this tool, but hopefully after watching this video you will find it a bit easier to handle and use. It can be used for outlining your artwork, selecting a very specific path, or even creating paths for text tools and more.
