Windows 8 Preview - The Weather App

Windows 8, I believe, tries to be two things at once - an OS for desktop PCs (or MacBook Air in my case) and for portable and tablet devices.  This is not necessarily a bad thing and the new weather app is clearly one that would be suited on either PC or tablet.

As a committed Mac user I am very impressed by both style and content.  This app combines both in a very nice way. The functionality is exactly what I need when I want to check both the forecast of my local area and additional destinations. I was very impressed by the short weather videos integrated into the app.
