Why does the Apple logo have a bite?

"Bite from the apple" sounds like a pretty abstract name.

I thought I'd introduce a little history about the Apple logo, and why the hell it has a bite out of it.

The Apple logo pays homage to Steve Jobs' passion for being different, unique, and pioneering. (He even made the price of the first Apple Computer $666.66…just to shake things up.)

The original logo contained the colors of the rainbow…however, out of order. This was meant to represent anarchy, and craziness, which spawns creativity.

The next aspect, the oh-so-famous bite, represents knowledge. When Adam and Eve lived in the garden of Eden, the apple was the forbidden fruit. By biting it, one could achieve knowledge. When Adam and Eve bit the apple, god threw was angered that they ate the forbidden fruit, and removed them from paradise, placing them into the regular world. This way, they gained knowledge of everything outside or paradise, and they became enlightened. The apple to them was the red pill to The Matrix.

So now you know. The bite from the apple provides  knowledge, and that's what we've got.
