Apple announces new products
Apple has finally updated the iMac, MacBook and Mac Mini.
The iMac's biggest new features:
- bigger screens (21.5 and 27 inch)
- 3.06ghz Intel Core 2 Duo; the top of the line iMac comes with an Intel i5
- they also are now in widescreen
- There even the same price! You can upgrade the processor from 3.06ghz to 3.33ghz for $200
The iMac with the Intel i5 quad core machine can hold up to 16 GB of DDR3 RAM. It also comes standard with a 1 TB (1000GB) hard drive.
MacBook:
- new design, features a more rounded edge loook
- DDR3 RAM
- increased hard drive storage
Mac Mini:
- faster processor (2.26 GHz and 2.53 GHz); there is also a server version which has a 2.53 GHz processor
- still only holds 4GB of DDR3 RAM
- 2.53 GHz version can get upgraded to a 2.66 GHz processor
