Apple updates the Macintosh line
Today, Apple updated the MacBook, iMac, and Mac Mini. If you ask me, the updates make these products much more sleek, and sexy.
iMac:
The new iMac is thinner, and much cleaner than its predecessor. The back of the iMac is now silver, and the chin is thiner. The glossy black outline now reaches the edge of the aluminum casing. The largest possible screen size is now 27 inches, and I must say that if you think about it... thats pretty big. Of course as usual, the new iMac is faster, and is “greener,” but those new features don’t compare to the new mouse. The new mouse is multitouch, so it has no scroll bar. It can feel where your fingers are, allowing scrolling and multi touch gestures.
MacBook:
The new MacBook is also very amazing. You remember back at WWDC, when Apple moved the 13” MacBook up to the MacBook Pro line? And then there was just that $999 dollar MacBook dangling from the store like a tooth thats ready to fall out? Well Apple replaced that MacBook with a brand new MacBook that has a sleek white case, but has that sturdy, durable unibody enclosure. It also has a built in 7 hour battery, with seven minutes on a single charge. One other new feature is the glass trackpad, this MacBook really does have most of the features that the 13” MacBook Pro does, except well the MacBook is white.
Mac Mini:
The new MacMini has a faster processor, and more memory. The Mac Mini can get up to speeds as fast as 2.66Ghz, and up to 4gbs of RAM. Apple also claims that it is “the most energy efficient desktop computer, ever.”
Apple did a very good job when it comes to giving updates to products, but they always do. For more information, check out Apple.com.

The new mac mini is also being promoted for the first time (BY APPLE) as a TV media center device (we've all done it before XD) in the almost bottom right corner of this page http://www.apple.com/macmini/features.html , interesting that apple is moving in this direction, what would this make of the apple TV?
To anyone that feels as though you have been 'jipped' by Apple in that you bought your machine not long ago ad there are now cheaper, better machines. You have one option if you have bought your machine in the last 14 days. You may go and speak to Apple and discuss their new product 14 day return policy. Please note that of you have had your RAM upgraded, this is not possible due to the RAM that was put in there deemed unusable.
Otherwise, if you have had machine for longer, do not feels down. You may have lost a little money and power, but think of it like this..
At the time you were happy with your machine, so why should new machine deem you unhappy with your old. It is still the same excellent Apple product. Enjoy it and make the most of it!
the macbook pretty much sucks, no firewire, no ifrared for apple remote, no SD card slot, dimmer screen, 2 usb ports and no audio imput
I dont know if this was a typo or not under the macbook section:
"It also has a built in 7 hour battery, with seven minutes on a single charge."
Does that mean it takes only seven minutes to charge? Or is this a typo meaning to suggest that the battery has 7 hours on a single charge, which there wouldn't be a purpose for considering its a "7 hour battery".
