My First Impressions on Safari 4 Beta

Yesterday, I downloaded Safari 4 Beta. Personally I see myself using this browser, and I'm looking forward to what Apple is going to do with upcoming Safari versions. I've been using this browser in the past 24 hours and I'm already stuck to it. Overall it runs pretty good and I believe that Apple can have a big success with this browser. Here are my opinions on some of the new exciting features that Safari provides.

Appearance
Personally the new Safari looks a lot better than the old version. I really like Mac's silver aluminum interface on their Applications, it looks very nice. However, I'm not a big fan of a windows application looking like a Mac application. Apple now made Safari look like a Windows application which looks very nice, I've grown to appreciate this a lot. The tabs are now integrated at the top which I'm also a big fan of. This browser looks a lot like Safari and Google Chrome combined, I really like this a lot. Google Chrome was my previous browser, so it's nice to see that Safari has some similar features that Google Chrome has.

Top Sites
Safari now allows you to see this great view called top sites. This is similar to what Chrome has, but this looks a lot better in my opinion. All of your most visited websites will automatically save into this webpage. You can rearrange the thumbnails which gives you a great animation when you move them, I'm a huge fan when it comes to great animation. You can get rid of some websites that you don't want on this webpage. You can also lock the websites into place if you want to keep the website's position. I have no complains on this at all.

Cover Flow
Safari now allows you to view your History, Bookmarks Bar, Bookmarks Menu, Bonjour, and All RSS feeds in Cover Flow. This view looks really great and it gives you a great way to navigate your history. So Cover Flow is on iTunes, Mac OS X Leopard, and now it's on Safari.Personally, it gives you a fun way to navigate your collections.
