X-Pad Review

I was recently sent an X- Pad from Edova Innovations. The X- Pad is a laptop cooling stand that works on your desk, on your lap, or anywhere. The X- Pad is about 1/4 of an inch thick and it compatible with any laptop. It's specially made to fit laptops 17in - 13in (as said on the site). However I think you could fit a small netbook on the X- Pad and it would work just fine. The back is covered in a rubber- like material which grips really well to any surface so you won't have to worry about it sliding all over the place. The top is covered with a silver plastic with 4 feet that shape an "X". Hence the name, X- Pad. The feet have a different rubber material on them with slots in them to increase air flow. Overall this product is very nice, sleek, and does it's job. I orgionally thought it would be better if the X-Pad was made of aluminum, but after talking with Michael from X- Pad, I realized that plastic is the better material because it isn't a conductor of heat making it the perfect candidate for a cooling pad.  Other than that, I give this product a 10 out of 10.
