Non- Spoilery Review of Star Trek

Now before you freak out and avert your eyes, this post contains NO spoilers! Me, not being a Trekkie, has seen none of the Star Trek films or any of the TV series. Director J.J. Abrams and writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman did a phenomenal job with the script and the overall atmosphere of the film. Composer Michael Giaccino did a fantastic job with the soundtrack as usual (previously Composing LOST, Alias, The Incredibles, and Cloverfield). All 2 hours and 6 minutes of the film were incredible and action packed and the parts without action were comedic which was unexpected. This movie was hyped up and it it definitely lived up to all of my expectations. I give the movie a 5 out of 5 and its certainly worth the $8.50 spent to see the movie. If you haven't seen the movie you must unless you want the geek title to be removed from your name. Check out the trailer below for some intense action. Live long and prosper!
