My thoughts on what the Mac Tablet is going to have

I think that the Mac Tablet (iTablet??) is going to run the same basic software that the current iPhone is running. It will have more system and video RAM for the larger workloads and maybe some multi-tasking abilities. I think it will have around a 10-inch screen, meaning the video RAM is going to have to be boosted to support the higher resolution. I also think that it will be very thin and it may even run on the current iPhone processor because that has plenty of power in it. I am hoping that this will be a sort-of third family member to the iPhone and iPod Touch. I hope that if it does well, it will keep the costs of newer iPhones and iPod Touches down. Finally, I think it will run the same iPhone OS with minor tweaks. This will allow for a very fast computer and no steep learning curve. That, along with improved video RAM, should allow for a couple of the applications to running at the same time.

Now, these are all my opinions just to let you know. I hope this computer does well and I hope they include some of the amazing multi-touch gestures that are on the iPhone and the MacBook (Pro) family. I think Apple will release this along with the new iPod Touch that has been rumored to be coming but I may be completely wrong. They may also drop the price of the iPod Touch and give this a heftier price tag.

Honestly, I have no idea what the price tag is going to be though. Please, feel free to comment with your thoughts on the price. I think it might be a $500-700 computer but they have the Mac Mini in that price range, so I have no idea.
