Western Digital 500 GB MyBook: Pros and Cons

I have had the WD 500 GB MyBook (Home Edition) hooked up to my computer for some time now and I thought I would make a video and tell you guys my thoughts about this product. I bought this from Costco for 120$ CD, so it's a pretty good price. So far I have been satisfied with the MyBook but there are some down falls to this product that people should take in consideration before buying this product. So instead of writing a long article that you won't read, I'm going to represent the pros and cons in point form....

Hits:

- Has a compact and stylish design

- Cool and useful capacity gauge

- Smart and energy efficient

- Doesn't heat up

- Cheap and reliable

Misses:

- No eSata cord provided

- Makes a little bit of noise

- Slow transfer speeds (on USB 2.0)

- No actual backup software provided......(disappointment)
