What's Up With The iPod touch?

ATTENTION: This is my opinion!

Ok, so as most people know, There is a rumor about Apple coming out with a new iPod touch. Which has a camera, mic, and maybe vibration feedback. Which is basically a iPhone. So let me ask you this question. Why would you pay like $200 for a iPod touch instead of getting the $100 iPhone 3G 16GB? And the iPhone in some cases is better. If and when Apple comes out with this iPod touch, i'm sure they would need to fix the apps so it can support the iPod touch 3G. I would personally buy the iPhone 3G.
