Windows 7 or Mac OS X Snow Leopard? Which OS does your computer need more?
Within the next two months, two major new Operating Systems will be released by both Apple and Microsoft. Apple will be bringing all Mac users Mac OS X Snow Leopard, and Microsoft will be bringing Windows 7. Windows 7 is the OS that all PC Users have been waiting for. Their previous OS "Vista" was in some peoples thoughts; Trash! Many people didn't bother to update their XP machines, due to the performance of the OS. Windows 7 on the other hand is the OS all PC users wanted. Windows 7 will be loaded with a ton of great new features. It's most secure Windows OS, and the most stable OS yet released by Microsoft. It also will be at a price of $50.00. Now for all the Mac users( like me), a new OS which comes to Apple every 1-3 years, will be released this September. Their next OS coming is Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Basically this is just an Update of the previous OS ; Mac OS X Leopard. This update will bring you Dock Expose, 6 Gbs back onto your harddrive, movie file previews straight from the front of the file, and a more faster, stable experience. This OS will be at a price of only $29. Now, for all PC and Mac users. What OS will be smarter to buy? To be honest, being a Mac user, Windows 7 would be more of a NEED to buy OS. Windows 7 is packed with a ton of new features. For all you Vista users, I would 100% recommend you to buy it. For all you XP users, You still need an upgrade although XP won't become obsolete until 2012, because its such an old OS that NEEDS an update. For all you Mac users, Snow Leopard isn't really an OS that needs to be upgraded. I however, is going to be getting it when it comes out, but if you don't feel like spending 30 bucks on the OS, its perfectly fine to just stay with Leopard. All the OS really is, is an Update to Mac OS X Leopard. So for the closing of this post. What OS is most needed to be installed on your computer. Windows 7.

i agree completely!
Have you tryed out Snow Leopard before because i'm running Build 10A21a on my MacBook Pro 2.4GHz (Early-2008 Model) with 4GB of RAM and Snow Leopard runs a lot more stable than Leopard I say $30 is not bad for an OS in the first place. My MacBook Pro runs a lot faster now that i'm running Snow Leopard boot times are quicker, Apps launch quicker and don't crash as often and more things.
My Verdict: For $30 Snow Leopard is a Buy
Yeah Windows 7 is prettier but it's performance increase over XP isn't justified for the average joe. People should stick with XP until they buy a new computer and it comes W7 comes preinstalled. Take the $130 you were going to spend on the W7 upgrade and buy a new video card. You'll appreciate it more.
Same thing for Snow Leopard. It has some nifty features but Leopard works just fine and will continue to be supported. If is isn't broke don't fix it and XP and Leopard work great for most people. if you have Vista then maybe the upgrade to W7 is justified...
