YouTube Partnerships: Good or Bad?
I was browsing YouTube partnerships the other day and noticed that many people on YouTube are partners and make a very good amount of money, including fred, nigahiga, and shanedawsontv. Now I have two problems with YouTube accepting so many of these partnerships to people who have crappy content.
1. Nigahiga, this year, made nearly 150,000 dollars which is a very good amount of money for someone with a position of uploading videos to a site, but here's where it crosses the line. If you make 150,000 or even 70,000 dollars with uploading videos to a site, I and many others would probably have their career lined out and would might become LAZY! Now as you may know America really doesn't need lazy people in society right now, and certainly being a YouTube partner as your career may pay well, its not a solid job.
2. Eventually people get older, and if you have about 2 million subscribers like fred between the ages of 9 to 13 eventually they will get older and stop viewing your videos and stop going on YouTube because they have jobs. So if you don't get views, you don't get money. Without money, you stop producing and when you stop producing, you become unemployed and then you are once again you are nothing in society.
My point is is that you can't live off YouTube forever. You have to get a real job with real money and work for it. I'm not saying that nigahiga, fred, or shanedawson aren't great at what they do because their not. I am subscribed and love to watch videos of nigahiga and shanedawson, not fred cause he sucks. I am just saying that you can't rely on people forever and must stop living in the moment.

Disclaimer: I do realize that this post is geared towards nigahiga and shanedawson but they aren't the only ones who make tons of money off of YouTube. They are just the ones who make the most and I must give props to them and the most love to and respect. You guys rock!

Well that was very... unnecessary. You don't have to point out people and tell them to get a real job.. Youtube is a very solid job as long as the site runs. Those who get older move onto more mature content such as ShaneDawson, and fresh new younger viewers come into play and start watching Fred. It is a cycle.
I agree with the first comment. Take children's'shows like Sesame Street or Barney for example. Kids grow up and quit watching, but a fresh new batch start viewing...

Youtube at anytime can stop giving out a portion of their profits to partners leaving them screwed. I wouldn't rely on youtube at all.
This was WAY uncalled for! I think that this entire post came out of jealousy. Better videos = more subscribers.
