Review of the Xpad

It's easy to tell that computers are getting more powerful as the years go by. The more powerful the computers get, the more heat they will produce. People who have desktop computers don't tend to complain about the heat on their towers, it's the people with laptops who complain about the heat because they can feel how hot their laptop get as they're typing or doing other task on their computer. I had many problems whenever I typed on my laptop, I could feel the heat on the bottom left-hand corner.

There's many accessories and applications that help fix the heat issues on some laptops. The Xpad is supposed to reduce the heat from your laptop computer without using any fans or any power.

It rises the laptop to roughly half an inch, allowing the air to easily find its way out of the computer. It has grills on the corners that form an X, that's where it catches the air that the laptop produces. The bottom of the pad is covered in a rubber material therefore it doesn't slide whenever you have your laptop on your lap or on your desk.

The big question that I know many people will ask me is does really cools my laptop? The answer is an astounding yes. After using my laptop my laptop is still a little warm, but I no longer have the heating problems I used to have.

Here's my pros about this product.

  • Reduces the heat from my laptop.
  • Takes up little space.
  • Doesn't slide when my computer is on my lap or on my desk.
  • Beautiful slim design.
  • Affordable.

Here's my cons about this product.

  • The bottom rubber material sometimes produces a smell or tires.
  • I feel it needs to be risen more higher.

There's my thoughts about the Xpad. As you can see, I have more good things to say about it than bad so this is a positive review. If you're interested in the xpad, it retails at $25 USD and can be purchased at www.xpad4laptop.com
