iPhone 4.0 to bring new features to the iPad before the iPad comes out?
Now, we all thought that the iPad was going to come with iPhone 4.0 as well as a new iPhone. Unfortunately...it did not. But, Apple has introduced new iPhone OS versions around March historically. So, it's safe to say, March will yield the iPhone 4.0 software. But the iPad is also coming out in March. And I don't believe this to be coincidence. I think the iPad and iPhone will gain a bunch more features in the next few months; very soon. The iPad will almost definitely get multitasking, and I think the iPhone will as well, but only the next model, which will most likely have the same processor as the iPad. And, being a developer, I can give you a tour of it. I get all beta OS's early.

I have a feeling something like this is in the works too.
I think Apple may have purposely downplayed the iPad presentation to trick people and surprise them with the actual release.
I disagree, if they had it I think they would of at least announced it at the keynote to get people excited.
If they were going to update it in 2 moths time anyway why havn't they already done it and showed off all the features in the keynote. It means they would have to build two os s for the iPad in 3 months which i don't think will happen. I think a new update to the iPad and its os to happen every year around now. Thats the most lightly situation but I may be wrong.
I can see where Christian & Christian are going with this, but I don't think Apple is totally done with os 4.0. It may not even be in the beta stage. It may be Alpha. Plus, iPhone OSs come every year around march, so that is expected, and because the iPad and iPhone run the same OS, the iPad will get updated too.
