CES 2010: The Nexus One: The New Game Changer?

When the iPhone came out it was called a “Game Changer”. It revolutionized technology and phones in general. The way we lived was altered in a paramount way. Now, The Nexus One is taking over. Some call it an iPhone rip-off, some say it’s completely original. Whatever it is, it’s incredible. The GUI is gorgeous, the features are non-stop and almost futuristic. Anything you can do on a desktop, you can do on this new Google Phone. You can actually speak to operate your phone almost completely now. So you can speak to tweet, speak to get directions, and of course speak to call. It doesn’t stop there though, live backgrounds, 5 megapixel camera, full functioning google earth, great app store, 1 GHz Snapdragon Processor, plus tons of more features. I mean this is a phone that could almost change the world.

A lot of people do ask, what’s the difference between this Nexus One and say the HTC phones with Android software? Well, this phone is all Google. From the OS to the hardware. Of course, HTC is still physically constructing it, but Google is designing the majority of it, which will make it even more amazing, because Google has been to known to be epic and revolutionary.

Another great factor that is going to make the Nexus One a game changer is that it is going to come unlocked and open sourced. It will cost $529.99 to purchase it that way, but that may be worth it. I work in the Apple Store in NYC and we get hundreds of people everyday asking if they can get the iPhone unlocked, but of course, that would be a no in the US. Yet, with the Nexus One, you can purchase it unlocked and open sourced and alter it almost any way you would like. That might just be enough to push it over the edge. No matter what has come out in the past, or what is coming out in the future, right now, or until the 26th of January, in our geek world, the Nexus One is all that matters. You can purchase it straight from a google hosted web store. So, my fellow nerds, if you are a huge Googlist like me, get ready to open up your wallet and close your current phone contracts, the Nexus One is here.

It's made by Google, One if not the most powerful company in the world at the moment.
Google aint going to bring any junk to the table.
This thing is faster processor than the iPhone, making it more powerful phone. Android is open source so you can basically make whatever you want for it.
You could built on android so much.
I think it is going to be a winner.

Many people were not impressed. I think it seems like a good phone, it will indeed be a winner, it's just a bit over priced. But if the iPhone goes CDMA *coughcough*, or gets that snapdragon, I am getting the iPhone. I love Apple, hence why I work there, but AT&T is not a good service provider, in my opinion.
