Apple Daily 11/10/10

Just one day after the release of the game that millions are playing, Apple made some news by putting out a Snow Leopard update, a study shows that the iPhone has it's ups and downs, and what is the real story behind AirPrint? All coming up...

Apple releases Mac OS X 10.6.5 with no mention of AirPrint

Alright just keep clear of that AirPrint stuff till I sum up the story so far in the end of this post. So as we keep growing closer to Lion, Apple will make our beloved Snow Leopard up to date. So in the update that weighs in at 680.1MB you get the usual security and maintenance improvements. To sum it up, you get tons of improvements and bug fixes in many applications, and a few hardware fixes.

Study says Apple's iPhone 4 most reliable, most fragile smartphone

This is not what I expected. I knew that the iPhone is a very reliable phone, but most fragile? Apple cmon' man. The new industrial glass thing isn't working out. I hope that the next iPhone can win in all categories, but with all technology, it probably won't. Still don't think that if you drop this 5 feet onto the carpet it'l break, nah.

Inside AirPrint: Apple's printing system for iOS

Ok so Apple was expected to make the AirPrinting feature for Mac as well. Apparently the new update was supposed to allow wireless printer sharing between a Mac and an iOS 4.2 device. No mention of this was made so maybe this will come later when iOS 4.2 comes out, but it's unlikely.

That's it for today, and remember that I do these everyday and if not you can get news and updates on my Twitter.
