Tik Tok and LunaTik iPod nano Watch

Since the 6th Gen iPod nano launched in mid-September, people have seen it as a great opportunity for a watch. There have been many iPod nano watch cases like the ones from Griffin, Incipio, and iLoveHandle. They are all great, but are mostly made of cheap rubber and aren't too aesthetically pleasing. Now there is this whole new class of iPod nano watches, which are made of premium materials.

There are two cases being contemplated for production at the moment. The Tik Tok and the LunaTik. The picture above is the LunaTik. Now you may wonder why I said "contemplated for production". This is because the designer Scott Wilson hasn't received enough funding to move this project into its development stage. You can fund them here by pre-ordering it.

Tik Tok

This is a simple (low end) watch case, in which the iPod just clips in. This is fantastic looking, great solution to your iPod Nano watch needs. The strap and the slot for the iPod are both made from rubber.

LunaTik

This is the higher end watch case. Its a two piece case in which the iPod is enclosed by metal and is secured by two bolts. The securing case for the iPod is completely "aerospace grade aluminum", while the strap is the same rubber, which is used in the Tik Tok.

They have many pre-order options:

For $25 you get a Tik Tok, which would normally be sold for $34.95.

For $50 you get a LunaTik, which would normally be sold for $69.95.

For $70 you get a Tik Tok and a LunaTik.

For $150 you get a red LunaTik (shown in the picture above), which is digitally signed by the designer and a Tik Tok.

For $500 you get an red iPod Nano, red LunaTik digitally signed by the designer, 5 LunaTiks, and 5 TikToks!
