The Olympic Winter Games

Tomorrow ends the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, it was a great sports event! I had a really good time watching the Olympics. Here in Brazil and in many other parts of the world, differently from the US, Canada and Europe, some sports like Hockey or Curling are not very popular. I had the chance to watch several hockey games, and i loved it. Curling is a sport that needs many strategics and i heard someone calling it the chess of ice.

On the other hand, there are some sports that are not popular in the US and Canada to, like the Biathlon, the sport consists in a marathon, with some change spots, in those change spots, you have to shoot in a target, and you have to do it quickly, so the others don't surpass you.

And there are some awkward sports to, like the four men bob sleight or the Nordic Combined, these are some interesting sport that many of you may not know, but are pleasant to watch.

It was a very good event, because we get to acknowledge many new sports, and increase our sports culture.
