Lynda.com

As a company owner I find it very important to keep my knowledge base topped up and there is always room to learn more. Unfortunately as a very visual person I find it hard to sit and "read" a tutorial on a website; I find myself constantly losing concentration or losing my way half way through.

YouTube is a good place to watch tutorials, but it can sometimes be lacking in either quality or clarity so I was happy when I came across a site called lynda.com. Lynda.com is not a new site, but I thought that it would be a good resource to share with you guys.

Now it's not free. I think I paid around £150 (GBP) for a 12 month subscription, but for somebody that is looking to learn a new subject or somebody brushing up on an old one it's a great resource. Remember there is always room to improvement in any area and on a personal note running a web design company, it comes as a comfort to know I can give myself and my staff the helping hand that we sometimes need and lynda.com does that.
