Echquo - Quoted.
When I was looking through my followers on Tumblr, yes all three of them, I noticed a blog called Echquo was following me. Curious as to what it was, I clicked on it to find a pretty interesting site. The idea behind this Twitter sort of service is for users to create and share quotes amongst each other. The interface is much like Twitter's as you can see above. You have a status entry field and below that, you have a live feed of quotes that are coming in. Below each quote are a few buttons. There are two sharing options for FaceBook and Twitter and you can simply copy and paste the quote into any other site that isn't supported. But, for those of you reading this from FaceBook, there's a long awaited feature on this site: The Dislike button. You can "Like AND "Dislike" people's quotes as you want. There's even an option to download a desktop wallpaper version of the quote if you really like it that much. Along with those features, you can also search for quotes, use certain "Popular Tags" and, since it's technically still a Tumblr blog, you can click "Follow" Echquo is a pretty simple site. I mean look how short this review is! But that's really the beauty behind it. Like Twitter, it's a simple way to get your message, or quote, out and let people see it.
