Review: Xtand for iPod Touch 1G/2G

The Xtand is a really well designed product that is portable but still durable. It is made from brushed aluminium that looks amazing on your desk, let alone next to any Apple product. The design is very similar to the base of the iMac with the hole at the back but at a reduced size. When I first got the item I noticed a few black marks on the base but I later found that the rubber washers ,which it comes with, had made the marks and they were easy to get off. The box that the Xtand comes in is a very sleek Apple style box. It has clear instructions of how to put the base and the holder together and I found the process very easy. The good things I found with the Xtand is that you can turn it landscape and portrait (basically 360° of movement). Unfortunately, when turned the screw fixing the base and holder together becomes loose. So to summarise, I would give this product 7/10 stars because of its unique design and its usability. MriMacInfo
