How to Approach Free-For-All in Modern Warfare 2

You know, not many people know very many strategies to the Free-For-All game type in Modern Warfare 2, so I thought that I would post some and hopefully help some of you that struggle with it.

First, to succeed, stick to the edges of the map. Going into the middle a lot will end up getting you killed. What I find works best is to work your way around the map. Do not camp. If you camp, eventually someone will come back and get you. Just slowly work your way around the map, moving place to place and staying in cover. You don't want to be too close to the action, because that increases your chances of dying.

Next, use a class that you feel "unstoppable" with. My prefered weapon is the Tar-21, because it is very powerful and kills in about 3-4 bullets. (Depending on where you hit) Also, I reccomend that you use a silencer, because you do not show up on the enemies radar. Your secondary weapon is also very important to choose. Many people like to roll with the Spas-12 or the Akimbo G-18's, but I personally use the .44 Magnum with a Tactical Knife, because the Magnum is the most powerful handgun in the game, and you draw handguns faster than any other secondary. Its pretty much up to you.For perks, Scavenger is a must because you will run out of ammo very quickly, Stopping Power for extra penetration, and the third perk is pretty much up to you. I use Ninja Pro, because I have a headset, but you can use Commando, Steady Aim, SitRep, etc. Its pretty much up to you. As for equipment, Claymores work really well and can be very effective because they can watch your back. I personally love Semtex Grenades, because they have a bigger blast radius than a Frag Grenade, and can get you out of sticky situations.

Finally, choose Killstreak rewards that you can earn easily. Generally people like to use the 5-7-11, or the 5-7-9, but its good to mix it up. If you have trouble attaining killstreaks, go low. The UAV can be one of the most affective killstreaks in the game, because it shows you where the enemy is. Don't be affraid to go low.
