Unlimited Plan for Verizon iPhone

Verizon COO, Lowell McAdam, announced that Verizon will offer an unlimited data plan for the iPhone 4 at $30 a month.

The best plan that AT&T is currently offering for the iPhone 4 costs $25, and you get 2GB of data per month. They also offer a 200MB plan that costs $15 per month.

Being able to have unlimited data through Verizon will probably make many iPhone users to switch to Verizon. So far there hasn’t been much said about how long that the unlimited plan will last. Verizon might just be offering unlimited at first so that they can get people to switch to their network from AT&T.

It’s not completely clear whether the unlimited plan will include the mobile hotspot feature without extra cost.

Will an unlimited plan for the iPhone on Verizon make you switch from AT&T?
